Description

Bottomless/naked portafilters are an essential tool for identifying and correcting extraction problems like channeling that cannot be seen with the standard spouted potafilters. It allows for observation of the flow column, rate and espresso extraction colour, leading to far superior consistency.The 51mm bottomless portafilter with walnut handle grip was designed to work with the Delonghi EC0680 and EC0685 coffee machines.

The portafilter is made with a premium walnut wood handle and rust-resistant premium 304-stainless steel. The bottomless handle is easy to clean and has no dead angles for cleaning . A 18g double-shot single wall filter basket is also included.

PLEASE NOTE: Channelling and spurting can be very messy, but are EXTREMLY common. This is not a defect of the portafilter itself but instead is your coffee telling you that there’s room for improvement in your preparation process (grind size, tamping, distribution etc).
